The Kindness Effect
Our goal is to help change the world by using small acts of kindness in the hopes to create a butterfly effect. Encouraging engagement and support that will lead to stronger communities, more empowered citizens, and big changes.
Recent ActivitiesWe got to assist the Eagle Point School District #9 Student Support Program deliver meals to families in need! So grateful we get to be a part of this community!
Massive Shout out to Dan Ames and his family for all their hard work to get donations and organize the purchase of 300 turkeys we were able to pass out at our November Giveaway. So many families were able to have a turkey on Thanksgiving because of their loving hearts. Check out the Donors on our donor list!
Our CPR/first aid training. We're so thankful we get to do things like this! Thank you to the Landing in Butte Falls for hosting this class and inviting us to be a part of it. Hopefully we'll never have to use it, but if a situation comes up, at least we'll know the basics.
Our Second regular "hot meal event" at Hawthorne Park in Medford, we served over 500 hot dogs! We've been consistently doing Hot Meals at Hawthorne Park in Medford Since August. While our meals at Hawthorne are geared towards the unhoused, everyone is welcome and encouraged to share a meal with us and just love on the community. We serve on average 125 meals every Thursday.
Our food Giveaway takes place the 3rd Saturday of every Month In White City.

White City Food "Pantry"
|
Our food "pantry" is based on the donation cycles of the companies we work with and is hosted at a School District #9 district building with no permanent location. It is first come first served, with no income requirements, and limits only on low-quantity items to ensure everyone gets an opportunity. We do this because everyone deserves kindness.
Through 2021 and 2022 our pantry has helped provide local families and essential workers with over 20 tons of donated food, clothing, and emergency supplies. Our efforts in 2023 was almost double! |
Food Box Donations
Our deliveries continued throughout the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic, delivering over 450 food boxes of donated food items to the front porch of families in need in Jackson, Josephine and, Klamath Counties. We continue our delivery service for individuals and families unable to travel to our food pantry events.
